New Era

It's the new season of my life as I'm starting my new life in UPM as a PHD student. There are lots of uncertainty, unseen challenges and pressure in life. But I made a commitment to spend time with Jesus every morning and to end the day by reading His words. I had been experiencing God ever since the first in UPM till now. Even though sometimes I struggle to get up in the morning to pray, God will speak to me through some articles. As I learn to wait upon the Lord to learn to listen to Him before I get to do anything else, God will show me some articles related to hearing His voice, waiting upon Him and etc.

This is the new era and I believe God is gonna do things that are impossible in the eyes of men but possible for Him throughout the entire studies here in UPM. I don't know what's gonna happen to me for the next 3 years but I believe as I run this race together with Him, I'll be able to experience Him in an extraordinary way.

I don't just get here to earn a degree but to bring impact to people around me.

Dealing with pressure of life

This song had been running though my mind for the whole night till this morning. I didn't listen to any Planetshakers song last night but somehow the lyrics of the song just appeared in my mind.

I had been so busy since last weeks. I didn't had enough rest and I had to travel to KL to attend my CONVOCATION. I rested a bit while in KL but the journey had been so tiring that I haven't recovered from it.

When I get back to work yesterday, lots of work pouring in like mountains. Works is endless. I felt the tiredness in my body. Having to deal with work pressure and pressure from my family members, I felt so tired and burn out. I felt life is so meaningless as I had to go through the same routine each day and that's life. I don't like this kind of lifestyle and I wanted to have a breakthrough. 
 

This morning as I woke up, part of the song kept appearing in my mind. I believe declaration had to be make in my life and by Jesus, I'm free. I had the victory to overcome daily stress and pressure. I not longer had to rely on my own strength but His. I need to set my priorities right and focus on Jesus.

This is an awesome verse as a reminder!

So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.

This is our very last cg in upm. I thank God that I manage to commit myself most of the time to cg this semester. I'm so glad to be a part of this wonderful, awesome and crazy family in UPM. Love the craziness we had together. You guys are amazing people I ever met in UPM. All the legends of God!
